the group

One of our best trips yet. Jeff and Carol with the group of 10 from St. Louis, MI. Thanks to Chad, Jay, Bruce, Peter, Jut, Pat, Nick, Kevin, Tiffany and Casey. They all brought a willing spirit and a great attitude. They left their clothes, shoes, food, guitar and a part of their heart. The brothers and sisters in Ouanamenthe say thanks for sharing Jesus. You will be in their prayers at 4 a.m. every morning. What a mighty God we serve.

A time for everything

There is a time to sit in the pew and a time to preach.
This was the best message I ever heard Kevin preach.

Let the little children come to me

If you ever wondered what you would do if you went to the mission field. Here is a wonderful example.

Are you sure this is OSHA approved? What about the wires?

As a missionary you have to know your assets!
Old bunk bed on its side
borrowed ladder
no power in the day time (usually)
Willing spirits
Know you not that if you do what is right it will go well with you!

Cleanliness is next to Godliness ?

I know thats not scriptural!
But when dealing with Cholera if a little bleach is good. Then a lot of bleach is better!

What do you see here??
The second pit was also used as a baptistry.
Kevin didn't know when he prepared these pits that after his first sermon he would baptise 4 people here.

There are no small job

There are no small jobs, just big hearts. The whole group from St. Louis were excellent and the teenagers were outstanding. They always recognized what needed to be done and were not afraid to do it. Carrying buckets of water was something imperative to the success of drilling the wells but was no easy task. Each bucket weighed 40 lbs. (the older members of the body were very thankful for the younger members of the body)
