Baptisms
In India if you submit to Christian Baptism, the government will change your "caste level". You will be reduced to the backward caste. You will loose any governmental privilages you may have had. ie. food assistance, education assistance.
Fish Pond
Don't count your fish before they grow! Please pray for this project. We build this pond in two days it will support 300 fish. The small fish are bought for 6 cents and will sell for $1 after 3 months growth.

Feb 11th Wednesday
Thanks for following the blog, The trip has been and is a great experience. Very exhausting, We teach 2-4 hr sessions two to three times a day. There is plenty of Sunshine and we thank God for the breeze. Travel is always hard , food and bathroom acomadations add to the experience. I appreciate your prayers. We have had great teaching on the new testament church. The people have been very reponsive and hospitable. There is much teaching that needs to be done . not just in India but in the world. The harvest is plentiful the workers are few. Pray to the Lord that He will send workers to the field.
Two of the men with us are new in theri faith but strong in their response. Ethan McDonald sixteen years old from Austrilia and Gary Mershure from indiana. These been have come to share what God has done for them. Please pray for the rest of the trip. Tonight we continue with small church meetings. Tommorrow we will start our return from the cape. We will return to Ammabakam to John Samuels and use that as a base. From there we will to teacher training and return to Chenai for evangelism. In Christ Jeff

I took a tent with me , This looks like the ideal location on the beach.it is really a mural at one of the church buildings in Chennai. It was very comfortable no bugs or critters.
